Analogue Redux

Legendary Australian electronic music and arts collective Clan Analogue present Analogue Redux as part of their Electronic Weekend Festival at 303 in the Melbourne Fringe. Analogue Redux celebrates the voltage-driven intensity of analogue hardware and live electronic musicianship, and will launch the new compilation album Analogue Redux: Hardware Explorations from Clan Analogue.

Analogue Redux starts early at 6pm on Saturday 24th of September with an open-entry electronic music jam session. All are welcome to bring any kind of electronic music gear, including synths, drum machines, effects, grooveboxes, laptops, ipads or anything else that emits electronically-generated waveforms. Come and join in the sonic mayhem!

From 8pm onwards a selection of Melbourne’s best electronic music performers will play short sets ‘in the round’ on the floor of Bar 303, with artists including Random Acts of Elevator Music, Miles Cosmo, Wonderfeel, BluNjin, Cocoon, Ming, Damian Tangram and headlining act Black Lung. Get yourself a seat for the best close-up view of knob-twiddling you’ll see in the Fringe this decade.

Analogue Redux takes place at Bar 303, 303 High St Northcote, from 6pm on Saturday the 24th of September as part of the Clan Analogue Electronic Weekend at 303 in the Melbourne Fringe. The weekend starts on Friday night, 23rd of September, with Kill Climate Deniers, and continues on Sunday the 25th of September from midday to midnight with Michael Mildren’s Music Non-Stop.

Tickets can be bought from http://melbournefringe.com.au/ for Clan Analogue’s individual shows or for an Electronic Weekend at 303 festival pass.
