THE GOOD MINUS bring their inimitable style of angular pop to Bar 303 on Sat 8th July. Matt Welch, Dave Kean and Stu Hazelman blend widely different influences to create intricate arrangements, featuring three-part vocal harmonies and obscure yet groove-heavy time signatures. These three instrument-swapping singers have each garnered over a decade of experience with artists such as The Hazelman Brothers, Cavanagh & Argus, and Fly South.
Armed with nothing but a slew of horns and percussion, COPPERHEAD BRASS BAND combines elements of the loud, gritty street parties of New Orleans with the meticulously arranged sounds and beats of a hip-hop troupe. Inspired by the heavy-hitters of American brass bands such as Youngblood and the Stooges, Copperhead will bring the dance wherever they see fit.
