Ramen, led by Hannes Lackmann, formed in mid 2017 with an idea of creating sound sculptures. A house of rhythm that you can sit in for a while, watch it form around you and be dismantled thoughtfully. Beams of sound, a foundation of pulse, walls of colour. Inspired by Nik Bärtsch's Ronin, Tower Of Power and the rhythms of the folkloric tradition of Cuba, minimalism and origami.
