Bio:
Emma Rowe is a singer/songwriter from Darwin. She has a unique talent for crafting quirky contemporary rock songs that combine lust, hope, frustration and joy in a surprisingly complicated but completely relatable style.

Her compositions ascend from measured, spacious moody rock to
lofty pop melodies and catchy choruses. But Emma’s undeniable strength is her vocals. They give a sense of a bird in flight – falling and climbing with intricacies, grace and control. Her voice is an auditory joy and it’s incredibly distinctive from the crowd.

Growing up in tropical Darwin in the Northern Territory, Emma has a
down-to-earth approachability when she performs live. Whether she is
playing solo or with her band you can connect with Emma in earnest.
She has no fear of being vulnerable and is always fully committed to
her performance – it is refreshing and authentic.

Emma has supported the likes of Big
Scary, Frank Turner, Jebediah and Christine Anu. She has also played
at major events including the BASSINTHEGRASS Festival, Darwin Blues Festival, Royal Darwin and Adelaide Show and Carols By Candlelight Darwin.
