Moonlight Broadcast's debut EP, 'A Cynic’s Guide to Dying Happy', is finally ready for release. Recorded at Rangemaster and produced by Tim Wild, this collection of songs is the product of the long and sometimes strange journey that led us here. We're very proud of the end result, and can't wait to celebrate the release with one hell of a gig at Bar 303!
To help us celebrate, we'll be joined by some very special guests: Old Etiquettes and Big League.
Old Etiquettes are alt-punk craftsmen whose hearts beat and bleed on every second of their music. Their music is a pure resource of self-righteous energy. Guitar tones are long and winding, hypnotic even. A confliction of hook-filled melodies of angst and harrowing and powerful singalongs litters the Melbournites’ songs. Channelling their contemporaries such as American Football, Sonic Youth and even Slint, Old Etiquettes is the rock band we sorely need in this current music market.
With their finger in the ’90s alt-rock dynasty, Old Etiquettes know how to take it to the next level. Debut album 'A Blur Again' is available at www.oldetiquettes.bandcamp.com
Over the past 2 years indie rockers Big League have been steadily growing their reputation with a prolific number of releases, head turning live shows, a string of well-received film clips and a national tour.
Since the 2017 debut of their album “I Thought Thunderbolt’, Big League has enjoyed critical acclaim from outlets such as Beat, The Music & Happy Mag, with airplay on RAGE, RRR & more. The band has been selected to showcase at SXSW Festival, which they will follow up with a West Coast US tour.
“With layers of jangly, fuzzed out guitar & blissful summertime vocals, Big League feel like ’90s grunge on muscle relaxants” – Happy Mag
