Roderick is a drummer/percussionist who discovered the Kora, (the African harp-lute) when travelling extensively throughout West Africa. During and since this time he has immersed himself in the mysterious beauty of the Kora and its music, and studied the Kora with great players such as Toumani Diabate and Adam Doughty. On this night Roderick will be performing with Cellist Arvo Arvanitakis in their duo named “Celestial Strings”. Together they create blissful, enchanting music that captivates listeners.
