"No Ticker" is the debut single for the relatively new band of journeymen musicians known as The One Twos. The accompanying video, produced by Mark Bakaitis, is provocative, but when teamed with the audio, is undeniably an anti-racist protest song. Committed to 2 inch tape by Luke Yeoward at Half Way Records, this is a no-nonsense, no frills chunk of punk; a two minute and forty one second, intense volley of anger and frustration directed at those who would dare to "re-claim" our country. As Mik Weird snarls in the lyric: "what have you got to reclaim? It was never yours in the f**king first place!" No Ticker comes from the band's debut long player, "Keep Punching", which be released towards that latter part of 2019.
The Ramshackle Army The Ramshackle Army draws on a vast array of influences, including the punk they grew up on, the Celtic traditions of their family history and Australian colonial heritage. They combine an energetic live show with the simple premise that by having fun themselves, the crowd will come along for the ride. Playing all over Australia and the US, the band have supported many well know groups, including The Dropkick Murphys, Frank Turner and The Damned. Check out their video "Foreign Soil" at https://youtu.be/tn3Uw0rbmVM (where they also worked with Mark Bakaitis).
Social Haunts Rocking and melodic at the same time, Social Haunts songs discuss issues such as homelessness and the Church's cover up of child sexual abuse. Currently single "Stay Alive With Me" is available via the usual digital platforms, while the band is in the process of recording its first full length release. Their influences include The Menzingers, Against Me!, Flatliners and Propagandhi.
Ravines Ravines is former Go-Set and Luke Yeoward and the Half Way guitar slinger, Ben Fraser. From The Clash, to Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty to The Replacements, Ravines loves a good cover song. He may even sneak in a few of his own tunes for good measure!
