Brain Romance + Alister + Mim Crellin + Indigo King

4 short and sweet sets by 4 class acts.

Melbourne artist Hannah Cameron and Canadian-born Sydney musician Brian Campeau have long shared a mutual admiration and nurturing of one another’s musical journeys. The full-time friends, part-time collaborators are now teaming up as a brand new outfit. Brain Romance fuses the erratic, off-kilter songwriting and progressive indie tropes of Campeau with Cameron’s nuanced and arresting vocals to birth a folk-pop tour de force, years in the making.

Alister were brought together in the final days of 2018 which was a huge year of transition, momentum and development for two Melbourne vocalist and songwriters, Clancye Milne and Natalie Carolan. The pair focus on lyric and melody above all else, their voices intertwining effortlessly, with an emotive power that draws you into the very heart of their experiences.

Mim Crellin, long-time fixture in the Melbourne jazz scene and verging-on-closet songwriter, shares the stage with Claire Cross on bass and Josh Barber on drums. Returning to 303, the scene of her formative original music experiences, Mim will bring her heart-felt alt-pop quasi-anti-love songs out into the light of day for the first time in a while, and the LAST time before she relocates to NYC.

So fresh she doesn't have a bio or facebook page, Indigo King has been wowing audiences and broken hearts with her bangin' songs and soulful lyrics beyond her years. Directing her own video clips and co-producing her own tracks, this lady is set to take over the world. "Sounds like: Voice of an angel. Heart of a lion. Friendly as an otter." — some person who writes for Triple J Unearthed High
