Darkness on the Edge of Northcote is an acoustic celebration of the music of Bruce Springsteen played by Melbourne-born Matthew Brown. Springsteen turned 70 this past September and with albums such as 'Born to Run' and 'The River' turning 45 and 40 respectively in 2020 there's much to celebrate with the wealth of his entire back catalogue. Matthew Brown moved to London ten years ago and is a veteran of the local live music scene there as both a performer (As a solo artist and in various bands) and a promoter. With Springsteen a prominent influence in his music and life in general, Matthew once performed in a Springsteen tribute band playing around Melbourne. Revisiting his Glory Days, Matthew brings his Springsteen celebration home to Melbourne for one night only
