7:30pm - Matt Hoyne Matt Hoyne’s last concert received rave reviews in local and international press:
“Matt Hoyne’s music is ok... like, it’s pretty good but you never know, sometimes it can get a bit weird. Don’t get me wrong I like it... but I have to, I’m his grandma. I just wish he wouldn’t play all those chords - like, where’s the melody? All those solos and notes, it’s a lot. Now that Andre Rieu, that’s the sort of melody I can whistle down the street! So dreamy! Also, what’s with the talking between songs? You’re not the year 6 debating captain anymore, let’s get the show on the road! But bless him he’s having a go.”

8:30pm - Joe Zreikat Joe Zreikat is an emerging guitarist in the Melbourne music scene. After performing with varying groups in many settings, Joe has developed a deep interest in exploring how 6 string, 10 fingers and a few pedals can be used to create an endless possibility of melodies and sounds on the guitar in a solo (relatively improvised) setting. Taking inspiration from Australian Jazz artists, traditional Celtic music, acoustic fingerstyle, blues and much more, Joe will be presenting his original works alongside tunes by Pat Metheny, traditional Celtic tunes and more.
