The Social Surgeons + Orph + Reginas

  • 303 303 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

The Social Surgeons are proud to launch their 3rd album ‘Where The Bloody Hell Are Ya? (out through AntiMundanity Records) with Orph & Reginas.

Where The Bloody Hell Are Ya?’ highlights the political and social idiocies of our time and explores a plethora of topics from Covid-19 (Sorta Yeah), Domestic Violence (Leave Me Be!), Morrison (Talk & Walk), the Frontier Wars (s/t) and climate change (Future Generations’ Right Of Reply).

Not easy to pigeonhole, The Social Surgeons have been variously described as 'politico post punk pranksters' to 'garage rock', 'swamp rock' and 'political hillbilly' ... WTF?? Having released 3 albums and 12 music videos, The Social Surgeons invite you to celebrate the launch of ‘Where The Bloody Hell Are You?’, which captures the freshness and vibrancy of The Social Surgeons' live sound and dissects the politics of everyday life.

Reginas. Feminists. Passionate. Muso’s. Through music, banter, humour and even sometimes poetry they explore topics such as the impact of past and present misogyny, how they deal with anxiety, what it is to be human and the concept of kindness. They play an eclectic mix of genres ranging from beautiful piano ballads to fun, fiery punk!
