The Dusty Sessions

  • 303 303 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

Dusty Sessions is all about bringing blues, folk and soul music together for an intimate evening of self-expression.

Welcome to Dusty Sessions Volume 9!
We are extremely excited to be back at Bar 303 in Northcote, on our favourite fairy-light strewn stage, with another amazing line-up of Melbourne talent.
We acknowledge that this event will be taking place on stolen land, and pay respects to the traditional custodians; the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. Sovereignty was never ceded, and we still have a long way to go to make equality our reality. Part of every ticket sold to this event will be donated to the Pay The Rent organisation in Victoria, who run community projects and offer aid to first nations people.

Conor Morrisey -
Conor Morrissey's piano playing is a unique sound to experience live. Drawing on skills developed from a wide range of musical disciplines, Conor finds inspiration in his favourite musical acts such as Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Dire Straits and Taylor Swift. He aims to blend evocative, detailed lyrical stories with soulful melody. Combined with his love of performing live and his diverse and engaging piano, Conor is a performer you don't want to miss.

Tiarn Toni -
Tiarn Toni is a singer-songwriter, producer and composer based in Naarm (Melbourne, Victoria). A deeply creative and multi-disciplinary artist, Tiarn explores music through the lens of dance and design, creating cinematic inspired music that evokes mystery and emotion. With smokey undertones and a unique and distinctive Australian vocal sound, Tiarn aims to take the listener on a journey reminiscent of love, loss and hope through raw but elegant lyrics and lush piano composition.

Dom Brinkley - Naarm-based singer-songwriter/guitarist Dom Brinkley has had a busy 2022, with his recent, improv-leaning live releases gaining traction on community radio stations like PBS. For this stripped-back solo show - his final performance for the year - Dom will be leaning into his earthy songwriting nature, more akin to the mystical storytelling of his debut solo EP ‘Moonlight Dream’, with some new material scattered throughout. Come down for a cathartic, rootsy performance.
