ROLFE/TIGANIS-HANNAN
Rolfe/Tiganis-Hannan is a five-piece ensemble led by drummers and friends Alby Rolfe and Rory Tiganis-Hannan. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, this project showcases a double drummer ensemble's unique synergy and interaction. They will be joined by friends and colleagues Ben Cox (bass), Patrick Barton Grace (keys) and Thomas Colemanbell (sax).
This ensemble features original compositions written in collaboration by Alby and Rory. Stylistically, these compositions explore jazz, soul, breakbeat and electronic music, featuring the band's energetic groove and unique improvisation.
ODYSSEY TO THE SUN
Naarm/Melbourne based and led by Italian guitarist singer songwriter Marco Troiano, Odyssey to the Sun is a four pieces psychedelic blues funk jam rock band, They released their first studio self-titled project “Odyssey to the Sun EP” in 2022 and performed their music in some of Melbourne’s venues as The Esplanade Hotel, The Catfish and The Last Chance.
OTtS is a mix of guitar improvisation, instrumentals,, sang composition, tribal percussions upbeat climax and intimate quiet moments.
