Fakusy is a DJ and a reggae maestro, who traces his musical roots back to the sun-soaked Caribbean haven of San Andrés. Nurtured by an artistic family, he was immersed in melodies from day one. Brother of Colombian soulful and indie sensation, ALETHIA, and the producer and musician Nathan GV recognised as the creative force behind numerous musical productions, Fakery’s destiny was intertwined with musical creativity.
An ardent collector of classic reggae music, Fakusy resonated with legends like Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Lee Perry, Bob Marley, Freddie McGregor, and Burning Spear among others. Growing up, he not only spun records but also lent his talents to various Colombian bands as a melodica player, vocalist and pianist.
His heart yearned to share the Caribbean vibe, so he voyaged to Australia.
Through his mixes, he weaves nostalgia with innovation, crafting an atmosphere that unites generations.
