Dave Graney & Clare Moore: Their unique musical partnership has created over thirty albums. They are currently touring their new album ‘(strangely)(emotional)’. “A combination of the familiar tropes of rock and pop intermingled with literary lyrical explorations, jazz elements, ambient sounds, and a degree of abstraction masking astute commentary on the state of the world today. There are more ideas in these 15 songs than most artists achieve in their careers”. Bob Osborne – DIFFERENT NOISES – Salford UK

The Live Flesh Rock Cabaret is based on the ‘variety shows’ Live Flesh staged regularly at Danes Magic Parlour in Brunswick and at the recent Musicians for Yes gigs - a mixture of band and solo /duo acts including other types of performers.
Malcolm Hill’s Live Flesh
Reviews - The third act was Malcolm Hill, best fucking band I’ve seen in ages. He’s toured with Nick Cave and is one of the last true Melbourne Bohemians. So there I was, in a red crushed velvet dress drunk out of my mind dancing like crazy on an empty floor in a Brunswick backstreet old venue. I fell in love with the guitarist’s Eastern solos over this dark blues -country sound. Best night ever.”
“You’d be hard pressed to find a more self generated artist who has made interesting work in both music and dramatic performance over a number of years. All his best work is full of palpable physical energy and the thrill of performance and creation.”
Dave Graney
