Will Larsen is doing quartet shows at 303 front bar every week in August!

Naarm/Melbourne-based saxophonist Will Larsen has been spending the last little while developing his trade in the busy freelance scene in town, working with a diverse range of artists and styles.

Will regularly tours and records with artists such as Ausecuma Beats, Headphones Jones, Steppers, and Mount Kujo, and has contributed to releases by Alcides Neto, Bumpy, Watty Thompson, David Arden, and many others. These contributions have taken Will to festivals including Meredith, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Womadelaide, Dark Mofo, Strawberry Fields, A Festival Called Panama, and more.

This is Will's first time performing his compositions under his own name, with an assortment of compositions penned in late 2019 - early 2020, while listening to Joe Henderson's 70s & 80s works, along with the early works of Tigran Hamasayan and Ben Wendel.
