Harry Tinney is a musician originally from Australia now based in Amsterdam. Since the release of his debut album “Kingsnake” in 2019, Harry has worked diligently to forge connections within the Australian improvised music scene, recording and touring with various groups around the country. He was accepted as one of the five finalists in Australia at the National Jazz Awards in 2022. As a bandleader, he followed up his debut instrumental album with two more releases. The first; “ORACLES” with his band WASTELANDS in 2022, and the second “Organix” with his Hammond organ trio in 2023.

For this gig at Bar 303 he’ll be joined by longtime friends and collaborators Angus Radley and Lewis Pierre to play a set of mostly improvised music. The gig will be recorded directly to cassette using a 4 track recorder to be released as a live album in future.

Macrocarpa is an improv group of Darebin-based musicians playing long form, textural music. Twang-heavy.
