BackBurn is a four-piece hard rock force hailing from Frankston, channelling the grit and soul of 90s alt rock with a modern edge. Blending the rawness of grunge with the weight of hard rock and metal, Backburn delivers stripped-back, drop-tuned riffs, emotionally charged vocals that swing from a whisper to a wail, and a rhythm section that’s tight, dynamic, and impossible to ignore.

Offering a Fusion of 90's Alt Rock and Jazz, Renelophus takes a progressive approach to songwriting. With overly candid lyrics and bisexual vocal harmonies reminiscent of 90’s Hip-hop, experimental enjoyment of having one's mind relocated seems to be the intention of the band.
