Christopher Rozakeas is an emergent trombonist and composer from Melbourne, Victoria.
He has been the recipient of various accolades, including the Geoffrey Whitelaw Monash
Brass scholarship, the Peter Bornstein jazz prize, and a two-time James Morrison
scholarship finalist. He’s collaborated with local and internationally-acclaimed jazz luminaries
including Kristin Berardi, Shannon Barnett, Antonio Sanchez, Linda May Han Oh and Ingrid
Jensen. Some projects from Christopher include his quintet ‘crozak5’ and his
recently-launched septet ‘CITIES OF CELADON’.
