Who’s 3CR?
Naarm's home of radical radio. Community owned and operated, for 50 years 3CR has been broadcasting live and local on issues that matter to all of us, platforming voices denied a place in mainstream media. With dedicated programs including First Nations, climate, anti-nuclear, queer, housing, music, anti-militarism, unions, community languages, anti-fascism and more, 3CR is radio for the people, by the people.
We are angry!
Angry at the direction that babylon steers us, and at the continued injustice that it feeds off. Resistance to injustice is the foundation of roots music, and our sound system is built on that legacy. We will be playing political roots n dub all night long. W/ talks from Joe Dubs from Solidarity on how sound system is inherently political, and Jacob & Mercedes from A Friday Rave on where we are at and that we can fight back. Solidarity is the antidote to despair. Come down and dance to conscious music and raise money for radical radio.
