Sweat combines groove, spoken word, horn melodies and improvisation to create a fresh take on spiritual jazz. With a cast of vibrant young musicians, the band features vocalist and poet Jag, who traverses seamlessly between spoken word and singing over the top of resonant, intense grooves.
