Strut your stuff at Klub MUF (Ukulele Open Mic)!
Bar 303, 303 High Street, Northcote - Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October, 1:00-6:00pm
Klub MUF is the FREE open mic stage for the Melbourne Ukulele Festival, held at Bar 303, at 303 High St Northcote: It is THE continuous ukulele performance party and is one of the venues to meet up with festival friends.
This open stage welcomes professional performers, as well as players working their material and first timers venturing onto our friendly stage.
Based on the long-running monthly Klub MUK, where many ukulele players have cut their performance teeth and where groups have come together to develop their act, the diversity of entertainment is amazing – you never know what you’re going to hear.
Klub MUF has also been privy to many impromptu and spontaneous festival jams, where performers and festival goers meet up, network with each other and other like-minded musos, to play, relax, socialise and soak up the amazing festival vibe.
You may not have had the courage or confidence to apply as a festival 'act', but you can still strut your funky stuff for a song or two on our little festival stage in front of the world's friendliest and most forgiving, encouraging audience.
Klub MUF is a Dean Denham/Melbourne Ukulele Kollective production (because they just love doing it!) and is open to all ukulele playing members of the public.
If you want to perform a couple of numbers just rock up!
