Inspired bythe cinematic surf sounds of Joe Meek, John Barry and Jack Nitzsche, the hot rod twang of Link Wray and the eccentric genius of Lee Perry's Upsetters, The HereHere's play an alloriginal repertoire of melodic, toe tapping and memorablekiller instrumentals.
The Here Here's are Rohan Sherlock-the Fender bass, Luke Collins- the drum set,
Nigel Wright-percussion, Dan Marsh-Hammond Organ and piano and Baz Turnbull on the Guitarocaster.
The tunes are composed by guitarist Baz Turnbull. Originally from Sydney, he has toured extensively both locally and internationally playing guitar in the touring bands ofJamaican greats The Congos andHorace Andy, alt country legends Richard Buckner and The Willard Grant Conspiracy, Pulitzer Prize winning author James Ellroy and local music royalty The Cruel Sea and Ed Kuepper. Baz isa current member of psych rockers The Clearspacemen and legendary inner west improvising outfit The Renovators. He has alsoguested on many notable Australian recordings.
