Dominiques + Ladyslug + The Bellows + The Hot Pockets
Dominiques instincts, attitude, and style found them moving forward to the sharp genre of new wave rock. Often being referred to the likes of Blondie, Nick Cave, and The Cure, Dominiques have attracted stellar references from Triple J claiming the five-piece “oozes 80’s pop rock nostalgia…fuzz driven guitar and bass licks… amazing vocal melodies and playful squeals.”
Their live show has attracted a wide audience with edgy-dance-floor-driven sounds, boasting an established fan base in Northern NSW and Brisbane. Dominiques are becoming well known nationally supporting the likes of Triple J fave’s Moses Gunn Collective, Nocturnal Tapes, and Sydney legends Lepers and Crooks. DOMINIQUES have recently launched their amazing debut EP after working with acclaimed engineer/producer Paul Pilsneniks (Angus Stone) (Boy and Bear).
Supporting Dominiques are a trio of local and touring contemporary soul groups. Hailing from Lismore, NSW, Ladyslug are taking the stage by storm with the release of their debut self-titled EP in November, 2016, live at Bar 303. Melbourne’s own The Bellows will be stoking up the night alongside The Hot Pockets for some original soul tunes to form these tasty back-to-back sets. This show is the perfect opportunity to see some crackerjack local and touring acts in rapid-fire succession.
