The Boite brings the Nigerian and Guinean party vibe straight to your doorstep for the 20th Darebin Music Feast, with Melbourne’s premiere afro-party bands, Alárìíyá and Jarabi!

The Boite present afrobeat sensation, Alárìíyá, in their debut performance at the Darebin Music Feast. Alárìíyá deliver the finest afro-jazz, funk rhythms, creating a unique live performance with exotic vibes and sounds. Fronted by ex-trumpeter from Fela Kuti's band, Egypt 80, Olugbade Okunade aka GP Saxy, brings you the authentic afrobeat flavour of Nigeria to awaken your spirit with uplifting sounds. Blazing horns, explosive percussion and punchy lyrics will keep you dancing all night long. Party people of the world get ready for Alárìíyá!

Sharing the night with Jarabi, a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary music and dance from Guinea, the heart of West African music and culture.
