Materialising on stage in a vibrant, passionate flourish of purple bohemianism, Tasmanian troubadour Jesse McCormack showcases his signature style of “Swedish-infused acoustic Celtic folk-rock” utilising a small arsenal of eclectic instruments and a voice that's been known to reduce grown men to tears and rowdy pubs to awed silence. He'll present a generous selection of songs from his new album 'Enchanted Forest', a fantasy/history-themed project which evokes imaginings of mythological creatures dancing between the trees, as well as highlights from his debut album 'The Day Before the Fair' and tributes to his musical heroes.
Taking place in the quirky front bar of 303, the launch will feature three talented special guests from the Melbourne folk music scene: Jess Foot (5-string violin), Sam Davies (uilleann pipes), and 'Enchanted Forest' guest musician Claire Patti (harp, vocals).
Tickets at the door: $10pp, or $5pp for a group of 10+
