CIRCUIT BREAKER is a high-octane fusion band racing onto the Melbourne scene, inspired by the same artists whose influence shaped the sound of classic Japanese game and pop culture soundtracks, including bands such as Casiopea and T-Square, as well as composers like Koji Kondo and Yoko Kanno.

Circuit Breaker made their first appearance supporting Isagani’s Debut show at Shotkickers on May 15th 2025, and since then, have played at several notable venues, including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and The Toff. Their original music is about fusing serious chops with serious fun, serving as a love letter to the Japanese jazz fusion scene and classic video game OSTs. With more shows on the horizon and having recently played at PAX Melbourne, Circuit Breaker is revving up to bring their turbocharged take on fusion to even bigger stages!
